Amazon Prime Day is here for 2026, and quite honestly, none of the deals are really that great due to hardware costs, but with that said, a few of the deals are actually worth your money if you’re building or upgrading your home lab. Below, I’ve put together a list of the discounts I’d consider myself based on hardware I’ve purchased, used, or reviewed over the past few years.

Best Prime Day Deals 2026: NAS, Mini PCs, & More

UGREEN NASync DXP4800 / DXP8800 Plus

The UGREEN NASync DXP4800 GT is a great deal, and after a lot of UG OS improvements, this is a great device for home users. It comes with ECC RAM and has a lot of cool enterprise features that most NAS devices don’t have. The one thing to keep in mind is that the OS is on eMMC and not a dedicated NVMe drive like other devices, so if you want to install a third-party OS, you should use one of the NVMe slots (two total) for that – that’s how I installed mine.

APC 1500VA UPS

If you own a NAS device or just need a UPS, this isn’t the worst deal. It’s a 1500VA, meaning that it will run a decent amount of equipment on it, and it comes with a USB cable to actually monitor the UPS.

This is the most important part of a UPS, as it allows you to monitor when the UPS is on battery power, and safely shut down the devices connected to it. If you don’t have a UPS, you probably should, and this isn’t the worst price.

Beelink EQ14

Beelink EQ14

I have this device and really like it, but it’s going to be slightly more expensive than the GMKTec devices below. Mainly because of the build quality – it’s simply a better-built device and has 2 x 2.5GbE NICs, but if performance is your only goal and you don’t need the second NIC, go with the NucBox G3 Plus below.

GMKTec NucBox G3 Plus

GMKTec NucBox G3

The GMKTec NucBox G3 Plus is a great little Mini PC, and I’ve used it for various things over the past few years. This is an updated version with an i3 processor, which means you can use this for hardware transcoding, which makes it a great complement to something like a NAS device. I’ve used the N100 version of this device as a Mini PC Home Server, and even used three of them to build a Proxmox Cluster.

It can be upgraded from an SSD/RAM perspective, and for the price, it’s hard to beat. The exception being that if you’re someone who wants to buy something with two dedicated NICs, and in that case, the Beelink above is the better choice.

Wavlink 2.5GbE USB-C & USB-A Adapter

Wavlink 2.5GbE USB-C & USB-A Adapter

If you have a 2.5Gb switch but don’t have a device with a 2.5GbE port, you can buy a 2.5GbE ethernet adapter and you’ll be able to add 2.5GbE to just about any device you own – especially because this one comes with USB-C and USB-A!

Keep in mind that if you upgrade to a 2.5GbE Switch but don’t have a 2.5GbE NIC, a device like this will be required!

GL.iNet Travel Router

GL Inet

This device runs OpenWRT, which basically allows you to have a fully functional travel router, meaning it run can VPNs, act as its own WiFi SSID, and just functions like a router, on the go.

This is a great option for people who travel a lot, but if you’re not someone who travels a lot, skip over this. The value just isn’t there.

Final Thoughts on Amazon Prime Day Deals

These are quite honestly, the only deals actually worth it for Prime Day. Nothing else is on sale, and in general, the options that you’re looking at are limited, but these are absolutely good deals based on devices I own and have used.
