Today is Amazon’s Prime Day for 2025, and there are a few deals worth considering, so we’ll be looking at some of the best Prime Day Deals of 2025. This list will focus on home lab equipment, meaning NAS devices, networking (routers & switches), hard drives, Mini PCs, and more.

Best Prime Day Deals 2025: NAS, Networking, Hard Drives, & More
20TB / 14TB Western Digital Elements
This is my favorite deal on the list. It’s a 20TB (or 14TB) Western Digital Elements external hard drive. This can be used as a local backup for a NAS device, or even as a regular, internal SATA drive as it can be removed from the case (shucked).
These are white-label, Western Digital Red NAS drives, meaning that it physically has a white label but is a CMR NAS hard drive. From a price-to-terabyte ratio, it’s hard to get better than this.

24TB IronWolf Pro Enterprise NAS Hard Drive
As of right now, this is the best overall NAS hard drive you can purchase if you need the largest drives. It’s $17.50 per terabyte, and is an IronWolf Pro so you should get slightly better performance and reliability. Funny enough, the 16TB model below is slightly less per terabyte ($16.88 per terabyte), but I’d spring for the additional storage if you can make it work.

16TB Seagate IronWolf Pro NAS Hard Drive
This is a consumer-grade NAS hard drive which comes in at $269.99 for Amazon Prime Day. I have used Seagate IronWolf NAS drives in almost every device that I’ve built and these are some of my favorite drives, especially since this is an IronWolf Pro drive. This is the lowest price-to-terabyte ratio for an internal HDD.

The non-pro 4TB drive is on sale for $99.99 and the 8TB is on sale for $149.99, but I’d spring for the 16TB if you can afford it.
UGREEN NASync DXP4800 / DXP8800 Plus
The UGREEN NASync DXP4800 Plus is a great deal ($519.99 for Prime Day, down from $699.99), and after a lot of UG OS improvements, this is a great device for home users (check out my comparison vs Synology below).
If you’d rather an 8-Bay NAS device, the UGREEN DXP8800 Plus is on sale as well for a good price ($1,199.99), though it’s more than double the price.

APC 1500VA UPS
If you own a NAS device or just need a UPS, this isn’t the worst deal. It’s a 1500VA, meaning that it will run a decent amount of equipment on it, and it comes with a USB cable to actually monitor the UPS.
This is the most important part of a UPS, as it allows you to monitor when the UPS is on battery power, and safely shut down the devices connected to it. If you don’t have a UPS, you probably should, and this isn’t the worst price.

Beelink EQ14
I have this device and really like it, but it’s going to be slightly more expensive than the GMKTec devices below. Mainly because of the build quality – it’s simply a better-built device and has 2 x 2.5GbE NICs, but if performance is your only goal and you don’t need the second NIC, go with the NucBox G3 Plus below.

GMKTec NucBox G3 Plus
The GMKTec NucBox G3 Plus is a great little Mini PC, and for Prime Day, it’s 30% off. Since it has an N150 processor, you can use this for hardware transcoding which makes it a great complement to something like a NAS device. I’ve used the N100 version of this device as a Mini PC Home Server, and even used three of them to build a Proxmox Cluster.
It can be upgraded from an SSD/RAM perspective, and for the price, it’s hard to beat. The exception being that if you’re someone who wants to buy something with two dedicated NICs, and in that case, the Beelink above is the better choice.

GMKTec NucBox G9
This is a Mini PC that I just got in for testing, but it comes with an N150 Processor, 12GB of DDR5 Memory, and room for four NVMe SSD’s. This will mainly be used as a NAS device with TrueNAS or Unraid, but since it’s a Mini PC, you can really use it for whatever you’d like.

SODOLA 8-Port 2.5GbE Switch
The name on this device isn’t the most known, but it’s hard to dislike the price-to-performance. For $35, you get an 8-port 2.5GbE Switch with one 10Gb SFP+ port. Unfortunately, it’s unmanaged so you won’t be able to use it with VLANs, but it’s a pretty great overall deal if you’re looking to upgrade your networking.

Wavlink 2.5GbE USB-C & USB-A Adapter
Pair the device above with a 2.5GbE ethernet adapter and you’ll be able to add 2.5GbE to just about any device you own – especially because this one comes with USB-C and USB-A!
Keep in mind that if you upgrade to a 2.5GbE Switch but don’t have a 2.5GbE NIC, a device like this will be required!

Samsung T7 4TB SSD
I’ve had the non-rugged version of this on my list for best video editing external SSDs, but this is the same thing, just rugged.
At a great price (especially for a 4TB external SSD), you can’t go wrong picking up one of these if you’re looking for a travel SSD or just want an SSD that won’t break if you drop it.

Crucial X9 2TB/4TB SSD
This is technically a better price-to-terabyte ration than the Samsung T7 above, but with the downside of not being rugged. For most, that won’t be a problem, but for under $130, you get a 2TB external SSD and for $185, you get a 4TB external SSD.
Overall, if you need an external SSD and it being rugged isn’t important, this is the one I think you should buy.

GL.iNet Travel Router
This device runs OpenWRT, which basically allows you to have a fully functional travel router, meaning it run can VPNs, act as its own WiFi SSID, and just functions like a router, on the go.
This is a great option for people who travel a lot, but if you’re not someone who travels a lot, skip over this. The value just isn’t there.

Final Thoughts on Amazon Prime Day Deals
These are some of the best Prime Day Big Deals of 2025 for NAS, hard drives, networking, Mini PCs, and more. Overall, you might want to wait for black Friday for specific things, but for some of these deals (especially the Western Digital Elements 20TB external hard drive), now is the time to buy.
